My name is Michal Daniely, I grew up in Jerusalem where I began studying ceramics at the age of ten. I later graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. I have over fifteen years’ experience working with clay and instructing and inspiring others in creating pottery and ceramic designs. My own work draws inspiration from raw materials and forms found in nature and plays upon contrasts between inner and outer worlds, the hidden and the manifest, the crude versus the well- defined. I use of a variety of techniques and unique colors and textures in my designs.

אני בוגרת המחלקה לעיצוב קרמי וזכוכית בבצלאל ובעלת ניסיון של למעלה מחמש עשרה שנה בעבודה עם חימר בהדרכה בעיצוב קרמי. את ההשראה לעבודות שלי אני שואבת מחומרי הגלם הנמצאים בטבע. אני משתמשת במגוון רחב של טכניקות כמו גם בטקסטורות וצבעים ייחודיים כדי לתת ביטוי לניגודים בין העולם הפנימי והחיצוני, בין הנסתר והגלוי, ובין הגולמי למעובד. את הנושאים האלה אני גם מעבירה בסדנאות לקבוצות שונות בסטודיו ומחוצה לו.
About Make n’ Create
After establishing a successful ceramic studio in the heart of Tel Aviv, I opened a studio on the hillside of the Souni neighborhood when I moved to Limassol, Cyprus, with my family. At Make n’ Create, I offer workshops for adults and children of all ages, providing opportunities to create in clay, both on the potter’s wheel and by hand. I also offer workshops for groups in settings and organizations outside of the studio. I collaborate with NGO’s and other businesses and entrepreneurs in an effort to reach a broad audience that can benefit from self-exploration through experimenting with and working with clay.

בהסתמך על ניסיוני בהקמה ובהפעלת סטודיו מצליח לעיצוב קרמי בלב תל אביב, הקמתי סטודיו בכפר סוני, שבפאתי לימסול, כאשר היגרתי עם משפחתי לקפריסין. כאן אני ממשיכה ליצר ולהציע למכירה את הקרמיקה שלי ואני גם מעבירה מגוון רחב של סדנאות למבוגרים ולילדים בכל הגילאים. אני מלמדת טכניקות שונות לעיצוב קרמי גם בעבודת יד וגם באובניים. אני עובדת עם ארגונים ויזמים שונים במגמה לתת לקהל הרחב הזדמנויות לביטוי עצמי דרך התנסות עם חימר ויצירה קרמית.
